After a very successful year and a half, Sturdy Beggars has gone through some much needed restructuring and streamlining in order to meet the challenges of what is to come. The administrative part of the company will be run by Alex Andreou and Brendan Jones with the support of Nicola Rockhill in marketing and publicity. The "talent" part of the company will now be open to all Poor School alumni who wish to muck in.

A very exciting season is being planned starting this autumn. We now invite you to express your in-principle interest in getting involved, both as an actor and (if you have additional or different skills) as a director, writer, stage designer, lighting technician, costumier, fight director, carpenter ,graphic designer or anything else that could be useful. By emailing sbtalent@hotmail.co.uk you will become part of the pool of talent available and placed on a mailing list to which casting and technical breakdowns for the upcoming season will go.

We also invite you to submit ideas for plays - plays you are passionate about and which have not been done recently, or ever (or well). No holds barred - from Greek tragedy to new writing, from Shakespeare to Neil Simon, from drama to farce. Please do this on sbsubmissions@hotmail.co.uk
